Parks, Monuments, and Memorials: Roger Williams Park Photo Essay Revised

I decided to revise my Roger Williams Park photo essay. I felt that out of all of bundles that this one was weak and needed to be improved. Also by the feedback from my professor Jamie White Farnham she gave me some insight on how I could improve this particular document. She wanted me to actually write my feelings about each photo. The photos that I took for my original photo essay were from Google.com. So to improve my photo essay I decided to actually visit Roger Williams Park and snap photos myself to make it more personal.

This is a picture of the Temple to Music. This place serves as a great place to have festivals, concerts, and other events. At the time when I snapped a picture, it looks like there was a Hispanic event going on. I saw people dancing and music was playing and everyone looked as though they were having a good time. Now the back of the temple is a beautiful body of water...

This is the body of water right in back of the Temple to Music. I decided to snap a pic of the ducks swimming in the water in a line. People next to me were fishing and pulled out a small fish. Other people had beach chairs and just sat by the water and admired nature. It shows that people truly admire this park and nature...

While I ventured off in the park to find more exciting things that I can snap pictures of, I cam across this waterfall. It is so beautiful in person. I was taken back because I have been to Roger Williams Parks over 100 times and I never saw this waterfall. I live in Providence, off of Broad Street, so I stay in that area. This waterfall was actually in the Cranston area, off of Park ave. When I was taking a view of the waterfall, I zoned out. The sound of the water falling and the view was breath taking and it made me feel at peace at the time. I know that I will take another visit to this waterfall soon.

Lastly, the famous eagle statue. There is not much information on this statue. This statue is right at the exit of the park, if you were heading towards Broad street. Its just a big white statue of an eagle and I pass by it every time when I exit the park.
